Sid Wainer & Sons, Inc.

This well-known supplier and distributor of specialty foods and produce has recently started construction on a 55,000 SF distribution center located at the company's headquarters in New Bedford, MA. The project was a design-build collaboration with CMC, Inc. Contractors.  SDE provided Civil Engineering, Land Surveying and Construction Management Services as well as various permitting with the City of New Bedford.

 

The new site improvements include a loading area for the distribution center with expanded parking for customers and employees, Stormwater Management System, utility upgrades, landscaping, and site lighting.

 

Construction broke ground in July 2016 and the facility is expected to be fully operational in April 2017.
